Curator Ana Maria and artists Velvet talk to Vicky (missing Cream today) about the newest exhibit at Cas di Cultura "Affect Through Distance". This first show in a series of five called "AUA Exhibits '21-'22" is a solo show by Velvet Zoé Ramos showing a decade of her art works that speak about the themes that keep Ramos busy and inspired, like empathy, the poor, hunger, how the media affects the spectator when it comes to tragic news about 'the other'. But we also elaborate on Ana Maria and Velvet's backgrounds, what moved them toward an artistic practice and how this new collaboration brought forward a magnificent exposition.
