Located just one hundred steps away, UNOCA is a local foundation responsible for managing Aruba’s cultural fund. By co-financing a variety of projects across different art disciplines, UNOCA aims to develop local talents, increase the accessibility of art and culture among the general public and stimulate innovation. Creating and sustaining a bridge between Aruba’s culture and society since 1986, UNOCA continues to inspire active participation in art and culture as well as provide resources to secure cultural education and artistic development.

Rufo Wever Music School
For more than half a century, the music school 'Scol di Musica Rufo Wever' has served as Aruba’s educational institute specialized in the study and training of music. In addition to offering lessons in a variety of instruments, such as the flute, guitar and piano, the institute also provide scourses in music theory as well as lessons in singing. The school is proudly named after one of Aruba’s most prominent musicians. During his lifetime, composer and arranger Rufo Wever created nearly 400 compositions, including Aruba’s national anthem “Aruba Dushi Tera”, which he composed in collaboration with one of Aruba’s most beloved artists, his friend, Padu Lampe. Cas di Cultura proudly hosts the Rufo Wever Music School’s recitals as they showcase their talented musicians.

Diana Antonette’s Dance School
Under the artistic direction of renowned Aruban dancer and teacher Diana Antonette, this school has been educating and training dancers on the island since 1996. Whereas Diana passes on her expertise in classical ballet, jazz and flamenco, her daughter Alydia Wever, a Boston Conservatory and Alvin Ailey Dance School (NY) alumnus, teaches modern dance.With courses in classical and modern ballet, street dance and folklore, Diana Antonette’s Dance School accepts students of different levels, from beginner to advanced, as well as different age groups, from 4 to senior. Fitness classes such as Pilates are also offered as well as sessions tailored to the elderly and the hearing-impaired.Cas di Cultura is honored to host Diana Antonette’s Dance School’s showcase of their talented dancers.

Plaza Libertador Betico Croes
Named after the political activist largely responsible for the realization of Aruba’s “Status Aparte” within the Dutch Kingdom, this plaza breathes history and tradition. Recently renovated, it features a large stage topped by an arched roof facing a monument of Gilberto François Betico Croes. Among the largest events held on this plaza are the annual commemorations of Betico Croes and his legacy on January 25 and March 18, organized by the Department of Culture. Throughout the year, many cultural events take place on this plaza; in vigorous preparation of these events, you can often find dancers, actors, musicians and singers perfecting their crafts under the arched roof.

EduCampus
Residing within the walls of the Cas di Cultura building, EduCampus Aruba is a new educational institute that focuses on personalized learning through intentional sustainability.
Since 2020 EduCampus Aruba has been offering students a blended learning experience through online platform and in-person courses to allow for a highly flexible learning model.
With courses such as Entrepreneurship, Coding, Fine Arts, Swimming, Botany, languages (Spanish, English, Dutch, Papiamento, French, Chinese, and more!) and clubs such as Junior Design Team and Student Council, EduCampus Aruba promotes personal innovation for lifelong learning and untempered creativity.
